The latest chapter in the Albiceleste icon's own Brazilian story is set to be written on 5 September, when he guides his Argentina charges in his first clásico as coach: a game that could prove vital on the road to South Africa 2010.

I live in Argentina, although I am English and a Spurs fan. Anyway I despise the fat drug addicted runt, better known as Maradona and take a lot of joy in watching him fail. However having said that, I do want Argentina to qualify, as it is no fun living in a country that has not qualified. Paraguay could well beat Argentina tonight, leaving them with a bit of an uphill struggle, but 2 easy last games should just see them do it!

Shame as it would have been great to see him crying with the knowledge he had failed to take them to the World Cup...
